Dreams were perished

I was a newspaper cartoonist in my childhood until my grand uncle stopped my artistic career. At that time he was a High school principal and he advised my parents like this: "If he continues his cartooning as a major thing in his life, he will not be a successive professionalist." So my parents don't want to see my future in that way therefore they said "Stop It". After many more struggles, nearly nine years ago I stopped it. Now when I'm looking back on my childhood, without any doubts it was a great time in my life. As a 24 years old man now, I do not blame my granduncle or even my loving parents for that incident because at that time there was a very disturbing environment in the country, journalists were being killed, and cartoonists were kidnapped. In short,I don't think any parents would appreciate their son taking such a path in a time when there was no media freedom. But my point is that in a country like ours where there are so many talen...
